With more than 20 years’ experience in healthcare, Nat offers a unique blend of sales, support, management and consultancy experiences. His extensive healthcare industry knowledge spans patient monitoring, diagnostic imaging, cardiology, resuscitation, IT, clinical laboratory systems technologies, and business models.
Nat is currently Managing Director of The River Group, LLC, a healthcare technology consulting firm offering strategic market analysis, equipment planning, project management and procurement as well as implementation services to healthcare providers, vendors and design firms.
Prior to founding The River Group, Nat was a Regional Sales and Support Manager for Philips Medical Systems (formerly Hewlett-Packard), in the Cardiac and Patient Monitoring Systems Division. He also held various positions at HP/Philips including direct Medical Sales/Account Manager, Customer Engineer, District Manager, and Senior Customer Engineer/Implementation Planning Specialist. Nat played active roles in new product development in addition to Customer Centricity and business development taskforces. These activities led to improved product design, successful product launches, streamlining of internal processes and increased ‘field/factory’ synergy.
Nat is a Summa cum laude graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, and began his career as Biomedical Engineer with New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center, advancing to Supervisor, Biomedical Engineering, at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, and then to Honeywell Medical Electronics/Electronics for Medicine establishing a successful track record as a Customer Representative. The River Group has established a strategic alliance with Omansky Group, LLc to offer a uniquely developed approach to acquiring customer insights, in advance of clients potentially committing limited capital and personnel resources.
