I've assembled several key marketing situations
with which I've been directly involved.
The examples are mostly drawn from my pharmaceutical
experience, but the thinking is applicable across
a wide spectrum of industries. They illustrate
how we deliver the benefits of the Account Planning
discipline to our clients. In addition, they
should provide a better sense of what our major
value will be to a client.

either as a visible or transparent partnership
We develop unique customer insights that
will allow us to collaboratively build persuasive
strategy, positioning, and, ultimately, a better
strategic or creative product for the client.
In carrying out some or all of these activities
for clients, my role has ranged from adviser
to "resident guide" to actual implementer.
The extent of my involvement and the degree
to which we employ our outside resources varies
based on the scope of time requirements, budget,
and client preferences.
